I have fibromyalgia, digestion disorders, had lots of pain & headaches. I had blood drawn & they sent it in to have it tested. From this I found I was gluten intolerant, also intolerant to anything made from cows milk & some other food allergies. I have found that if I completely eliminate these foods, I do feel better and my digestion improves. It's not easy but it can be done.
Philllipsburg Chiropractic then offered NRCT (Neurological Relief Center Technique) for my fibromyalgia pain. It took a while but now my fibro pain is much less.
There is no pain involved in the treatments and the whole staff is so kind and helpful. Dr. Susan Buchanan did most of my treatments. She is wonderful. She treats me with love and dignity. She always wants to know how I'm doing. I have never had a Dr. or Chiropractor take me out of my jaw pain (TMJ) like she can. Its the place to go if you want to feel better. Vanora Lehman
My problem: stiff neck and balance. I had this problem for some time, so I went to my [medical]doctor and after visiting with him, he arranged for a doctor in Hays, in this field, for me to visit with him.
The doctor in Hays wanted to see a picture, so we decided to do that. After he saw the picture, the spinal cord was totally enclosed with calcium. He said if I didn't have the calcium removed, my balance and stiff neck may not get better, or if I didn't do anything it would get worse.
So I had the operation and fused 5 vertebrae together and then I really had a stiff neck after that operation.
Living with that for several years and going to the Cheneys for other adjustments, Dr. Susan explained to me if I wanted to try the NRCT program which could help with stiff neck and balance. They gave me a trial treatment and then I decided to give it a try, mostly because she takes her practice seriously.
Before I started, I would lay down on the floor and my head would be 5" off the floor. Now my posture has improved to where my head is where I don't need a pillow any more.
I had over the year, looked more down. Now my problem is to break the habit of looking down and walk more erect. Dr. Susan explained to me different things from questions that I asked, usually more of how (what) one could do in daily living, to help your body.
(The doctors at) the Cheney Clinic (travel) to keep up with the meetings that pertain to their profession. They probably party also!!
They are honest and have a good practice going for them. The good part about this is there are no drugs involved. L.L.
I have been doing the NRCT treatments for some months now, and it amazes me how much "Pressing on a certain spot on the neck" can help you feel better all over! It's great! Dr. Susan & Dr. Dustin show they really care about their patients and the rest of the office staff do too! I feel I have made friends that I will cherish always! Thank you all - for your dedication & hard work towards helping others feel better & have a better quality of life! God Bless & keep up the good work! Jackie Pearson
To Dr. Susan:
How can you improve on perfection! I am so grateful for how much Susan has helped me through the last few months to feel better and to relive the pain the Others were unable to do. Thank you and God Bless you Great Business. Good Job!!! Caroline Manis
Dr. Cheney, Hi! (discussing our Isagenix Cleanse)
Well, I was about to throw in the towel after yesterday, but I can do this. The first two pre-cleanse (shake) days went ok, but yesterday I was feeling like: "If people don't love me the way I am, and the way I look, they can all just go to Hell!" No, I haven't quit my Celexa (YET!), but am seriously thinking about it today, LOL!! And no, Dan knew nothing about how I was feeling. I remained calm and sweet on the outside.
My starting wt on Pre-Cleanse day 1 was 225.4, which was up 6# from my apple and water cleanse. Pre-Cleanse day 2: 224.2. Cleanse day 1: 222.8, for a total 3-day loss of 2.6. But when I didn't get to eat anything, except those yummy Isagenix Snacks (and I am not being sarcastic, they are YUMMY!), that's when I started feeling ballistic. I did eat some plain cucumber at supper time, but after smelling BBQ pork in the crock pot all day, I also ate green beans (large portion), WHITE macaroni (large portion), and just a taste of pork. I wasn't quite as cantankerous after that and my wt this am (Cleanse day 2) was 219.4 which is back down to post-apple/h2o cleanse wt. My exercise has been: going frequently to the bathroom! Tomorrow starts shakes for 5 days but we have family coming this weekend, so I will just have to do the best I can with eating, 'cause I won't be doing shakes! By the way, sorry to be such a difficult patient! I will report back on Monday, after I weigh and have my breakfast shake.
Have a great weekend with you family! Thanks for being and awesome support person! C.H.
Dr. Cheney,
Another short note to let you know I am feeling much better. I have energy again, sleep better and the allergies are not gone but much better.
Thank you for your care.
God bless, Sharyn
Dear Doctor Cheney,
I am the evangelist wife who stopped in Stockton last May. I just wanted to send you a note concerning my continued health. Since May, 2008, when you diagnosed me with multiple food allergies by using the ELIZA blood test, I have seen an amazing return to good health. Nearly all of my symptoms have disappeared.
Fatigue: I no longer struggle daily with severe fatigue and brain fog.
Heart Concerns: Before my diagnosis, my heartbeat was 85 beats per minute; it is now down to 65 beats per minute. Occasionally, I would have episodes of racing heartbeats where my heart would speed at 130 beats per minute. I have not had any of those episodes.
Bowel Problems: Before My diagnosis, I suffered with constipation and thought I would have to regulate it all of my life. I needed to use an enema at least once a month and sometimes I needed one once a week. I haven't needed an enema at all this year.
Digestion Problems: Before my diagnosis, after eating I would have tremedous pain and would curl up in bed. Now, I know it was when I ate certain foods. This year I haven't had the pain, except when I have accidentally encountered my allergens.
Insomnia: I am doing better with my sleeping.
Immune System: With my travels, I would get sick nearly every month. Now I am rarely sick enough to stay in bed.
Respiratory System: I have seen improvement in my breathing and "colds." But, I think I must have some airborne allergies also.
Many have encouraged me that I could slowly re-introduce my allergens back into my diet. I was very skeptical and when I have accidently encountered some of my allergens, I have had severe reactions. It has made me very vigilant.
My family has recently incorporated another "diagnostic" tool - amateur kinesthiology. After I have read the label of a food to check for any allergens, my husband and son test me for my strength at that moment. I hold out my arm and they try to push it down without the item near me. Then, I hold the questionable food, and they try to push it down. If I can keep the same level of strength, then I eat the food. But if I do not keep the same level of strength and my arm flops like cooked spaghetti, then I do not eat that food. By checking the label first, I eliminate most foods, but because not all of my allergens are common, I can use this test for the generic terms "spices" or if a product says processed in a plant that also processes tree nuts, peanuts, and wheat.
We have discovered that my wheat allergy is so sensitive that I cannot eat anything with blue or red food coloring and the strength test will even work on me with just the wrapper of an allergen food. My allergens have hidden in my toothpaste, shampoo, and deodorant.
I believe you were truly God's servant in bringing me knowledge that would give me back my youth. Thank you.
Dear Dr. Cheney,
As you know, I learned of my food allergy problem on my own. Starting with bread. I learned about your food allergy testing listening to your weekly radio program. After having the blood test, I was surprised to find such a large list of foods I was allergic to. Most being my major intake, i.e. Milk, Cheese, and Yogurt.
After three months, I have lost 25 lbs., have settled into a very different lifestyle concerning my food intake. It has made a tremendous impact on my life and health. I have now been taken off one of my blood pressure medicines, and as my weight decreases, hope to get off the rest.
It has made a huge difference in the quality of my life. Thanks Doc.
Dear Dr. Dustin Cheney,
Logan arrived 12/6 at 1:13 p.m. He was 7 lbs 12 oz and 20 in. long. Everthing went smoothly and we are both doing well. If you let me know your email address I will send you a photo or two. Thanks Dr. Cheney and Gina for taking care of me during my pregnancy. Hope to see you soon!
